The program will follow a similar approach to the previous IWA water loss conferences, opening with a plenary session on the first morning. Three Parallel sessions will then be scheduled for the remainder of the first day, throughout the second day, as well as on the third morning. The conference will then close with a plenary session on the third afternoon. A time will also be dedicated for poster presentations.
A one-day workshop will be held on Sunday, 6th May 2018 as an introduction to the NRW techniques developed through the IWA Water Loss Specialist Group.
Though the submission of a full technical paper is encouraged, it is not compulsory for this conference. Authors should submit one page abstracts on their topic of choice (no later than 30 September 2017). If accepted, authors then have the option of submitting a full technical paper, which will be included in the conference proceedings. Authors can upload their abstracts onto the conference website from 1 July 2017.
It is expected that 200 abstracts from 60 different countries will be submitted; from which the Scientific Committee will select about 100 for either oral or poster presentations. Many of the world’s best known NRW management specialists will attend and present at the conference.
